Plain and simple, we've got another song about finished and recorded, passed it to OQ (Guerrillas) for mixing / mastering duties and now it's up on myspace. There's another one done but it'll be uploaded a little later, sometime the next week(s), seen that it takes so little to write and so long to record these damned things... Band has also been dragged back by internal stuff but now we've parted ways with our bass player and are already trying another one out. I'd say this change affects the recording schedule, but then again, looking back, what fucking recording schedule? Personal observation on life: as dumb as it sounds, having a fully equipped studio at hand whenever you feel like recording will sometimes work against you. I won't go into details on that because the laundry's best done at home, so that's that. Again, this isn't exactly an album version, for whatever it's worth. Hope you enjoy it. We know it's been a long time, we've been forging tracks in the studio and it's starting to come around... things are moving a bit slowly because a) our producer's 400 kms away, b) he's in the process of moving his studio and other stuff that'll keep him busy throughout this period, but we're in studio here in Tg Mures recording, nevertheless... And there'll be a track on myspace next month, that's fo shizzle. Oh and btw, you know why Snoop Dogg always carries an umbrella around? Fo' drizzle.

Hey there. The concert was a lot of fun, Coma kicked serious ass as expected, there were free cds, autographs, Radu as Cap'n Moshpit again, cool tee's and everything... There's just one little comment I'd like to make: if you won't get off your ass on a saturday night to see these dudes that traveled half way across the country, for less money than they deserved, or you prefered to buy that extra beer cuz the tickets be so expensive yo, then next time yo ass is bitching about how nothing ever happens in this god forsaken town, you'd better check yourself. There's a certain NoFx song title that comes to mind and ends in "Kids", but whatever... we had dj's Addo and Acqzuel in the house, my main man Mitza, Roxa was in heaven, peace to all that were present :)

Another thing I'd like to say, though, is that it's really cool to be an opening band 'cause you get to face the music both on stage and in the crowd... number of attendees aside, saturday night was great and we'd like to thank Coma again for coming and rockin' the place.

Maximum Rock & Coma

We played the MR competition. Didn't win shit. But played Cj and met friends and had a laugh, and that's always nice. We also kinda debuted as far as releases, since there's a compilation Morgan Freeman's on that the organizers gave away. No pics cause we all seem to have forgotten them back in Cj Napoca :). The real highlight of the evening, though, was that once the competition/show wrapped up, we just crossed the street just in time to attend Coma's unbelievably energetic and emotional show, it fucking blew us away. Great, great show.

Speaking of Coma, we'll probably be supporting them @ a local show on the 15th of November, details aren't yet set in stone but the thing is bound to happen this time. Even if the piggy bank has to take one for the team.

...we didn't make it to Severin :(. Our apologies go to the guys planning the festival, they were real nice over the phone etc. but I was sick as fuck for almost a week, even had problems standing up properly (the flu, what were you thinking?!). However, Truda, one of the most picturesque, original and standing out bands in Romania won the motherfucker, so congrats go out to them. Notice I said that so I could use the term picturesque at least once in my lifetime. Well life goes on, after I barely escaped the angry mob and swore never to catch a cold in my life again, it's time to look towardz zee future - the Cluj competition, which btw will come complete with an audio compilation Morgan Freeman (d_mix) will be featured on, so I guess it's our first discographic entry, hear he hear he. The d_mix, as you probably suspected, is a little mix Dome did by adding some freaky guitars, it sounds a bit different but it's pretty much the same. What?

The freakin' flu gave everyone an excuse for not recording anything last weekend, but things are looking up, the songs are more and more fluent @ rehearsals (actually, so fluent it kind of pains me to see rehearsal recordings from a few months ago, but anywayz) and this album will kick major ass, whether you like the idea and/or you're prepared to believe it or not. I can tell you it will be miles above whatever we've got streaming online right now, and it's definitely gonna be a first for Romania, not that that would be too tough to pull off anyway.

Recording - wise, so far we've pretty much covered "Overflown" and "Bedouin", and the next one we're doing is called V For Valentine - a song that evolved out of one of Dome's homegrown ideas. Btw, you can listen to the song V For Valentine emerged from on Dome's blog, and if you wish to complain about his abusing of voice effects, do it there. Not here. Sheesh.

Why We've Been Away

Well, cause we were rehearsing and then we took a break and then started rehearsing for the album again, and there's only so much you can blog about that. Now we've finally started the studio sessions@ Reea Red Room.

Weekend home

The song we started with is called Overflown, and filled our weekend with joy and Cami's obsessive riff which will haunt us forever. Yesterday's session started at 11 am and ended at 11 pm, and that's just day two. Also, our friend and co-worker Dan came and stuck his camera up our noses while recording, so probably I'll be uploading some videos and audio snippets later on.

What's up boys and girls? (nicked that from Brandon "girlypants" Boyd).

It's been like what, a year and a half since we posted "Under Siege" and it's gotten its fair share of plays, so we figured we'd get our shit together and record one of our newer songs, "Morgan Freeman", and upload it.
Before you ask, it was initially called "More Than I Am", but then again that sounded a bit like Morgan Freeman, and then again Morgan is such a cool actor, positive dude and all around nice person that we thought we might as well name the thing in his honour :).

It's a song about how Morgan went through drama school and had to deal with shit like people throwing crumbled paper at him and calling him stereotypical sleuth old black dude wannabe and stuff like that, at least thats what he told me over the phone while we were both sipping malt liquer and playing Internet Hearts and he was totally kicking my ass 12 to 1.

Let's not talk about how many showed up for the gig :) Apparently the fact that it was a wednesday night (well, day actually) and exclusively online promotion did weigh in, but we did our job regardless of the place not really screaming "rock concert" (visible in the vid). Anyways, it was a fun trip and Godmode rocked, thanks and love to Paul for inviting us. Videos will be posted in the next few days, stay tuned (shot with a digital camera as in the one that takes pictures:) so the sound's a bit lacking).
