Maximum Rock & Coma

We played the MR competition. Didn't win shit. But played Cj and met friends and had a laugh, and that's always nice. We also kinda debuted as far as releases, since there's a compilation Morgan Freeman's on that the organizers gave away. No pics cause we all seem to have forgotten them back in Cj Napoca :). The real highlight of the evening, though, was that once the competition/show wrapped up, we just crossed the street just in time to attend Coma's unbelievably energetic and emotional show, it fucking blew us away. Great, great show.

Speaking of Coma, we'll probably be supporting them @ a local show on the 15th of November, details aren't yet set in stone but the thing is bound to happen this time. Even if the piggy bank has to take one for the team.

Morgan Freeman is in the building

What's up boys and girls? (nicked that from Brandon "girlypants" Boyd).

It's been like what, a year and a half since we posted "Under Siege" and it's gotten its fair share of plays, so we figured we'd get our shit together and record one of our newer songs, "Morgan Freeman", and upload it.
Before you ask, it was initially called "More Than I Am", but then again that sounded a bit like Morgan Freeman, and then again Morgan is such a cool actor, positive dude and all around nice person that we thought we might as well name the thing in his honour :).

It's a song about how Morgan went through drama school and had to deal with shit like people throwing crumbled paper at him and calling him stereotypical sleuth old black dude wannabe and stuff like that, at least thats what he told me over the phone while we were both sipping malt liquer and playing Internet Hearts and he was totally kicking my ass 12 to 1.
